Doncaster College is one of South Yorkshire's largest providers of further education, with more than 13,500 students enrolled on courses in the 2011-12 academic year.
The college maintains strong links with Job Centre Plus and employers in all areas of the DN postcode, and regularly holds pre-screening events for pre-employment training in Warehousing and Logistics, for local unemployed people, at both its Hub and Stainforth sites. These events enable successful candidates to receive City and Guilds qualifications and guaranteed interviews, and the college to build close relationships with local and national warehousing and distribution companies, both established in Doncaster and new to the area.
