Thursday 13 February 2014

Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) is the newest airport in the UK, representing an investment of £150m in large-scale, high-quality passenger and cargo facilities.

In this short film, Steve Gill, DSA's MD, and Nick Weston, MD at Weston Aviation, talk about how their companies have worked together to grow the airport's cargo throughput by over 200%, and how Doncaster's business support agencies have helped them. The video also presents excellent footage of the airport's passenger and cargo handling facilities.

Doncaster Sheffield Airport's 2,893m runway, 24/7 all-weather operations, expansive apron areas and 50,000 sq. ft. transit shed mean that it is capable of handling comfortably all aircraft up to and including B747 and AN-225’s.
