At Multimodal 2015 (NEC, April 28-30), Logistics Hub UK will be showcasing the strategic sites, freight terminals and infrastructure projects that are fast establishing Sheffield City Region as 'the UK's Central Hub Location for Logistics and Distribution Companies'.

iPort Doncaster UK: the UK's Strategic Intermodal Logistics Park
iPort Doncaster UK is a 337-acre development site with outline planning consent for 6 million sq ft (557,414 sq m) of warehouse and distribution property and a dedicated, 35 acre Strategic Rail Freight Terminal. Developed by Verdion, iPort is strategically located at M18 junction 3, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA): the UK's Newest Airport
Opened in 2005 and owned and operated by the Peel Group, Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) is the UK’s newest airport, representing an investment of £150m in state-of-the-art facilities.
The airport’s 2,893m runway, 24/7 all-weather operations, expansive apron areas and 50,000 sq ft transit shed mean that it is capable of handling comfortably all freight aircraft up to and including fully loaded B747's, AN-124's and the AN-225.

The FARRRS Road: A New, Direct Link Between the Airport, iPort and M18 Motorway
The 'FARRRS' M18-Doncaster Sheffield Airport link road is a £58m infrastructure investment providing a direct, fast connection between the UK motorway network (M18 junction 3), Doncaster Sheffield Airport and the iPort Intermodal Logistics Park. The first phase of FARRRS is projected for completion in early 2016.

Sheffield City Region, which includes Barnsley, Chesterfield, Doncaster, Rotherham and Worksop, offers 12 million sq ft of available logistics development sites in a strategic central-UK location.
