Constructing a strong future for logistics in the Sheffield City Region
Monday, 12 September 2016
With just a week to go before Logistics Hub UK hosts its second industry-focused event – Logistics in Construction, Steve Swann discusses what’s on the agenda for the meeting and what opportunities it presents for companies across and beyond the Sheffield City Region.
Logistics is all about making connections and, our next free
breakfast event – Logistics in Construction – aims to do the same.
We aim to build better links between the region’s businesses
and in turn, put the Sheffield City Region on the map as one of the UK’s
leading logistics destinations.
To be held on Tuesday 13 September from 08:30am at Doncaster
Racecourse, we’ll be debating the logistical issues, challenges and case study
solutions within the construction sector.
Our guest Keynote Speakers, Dave Woodhouse of Henry Boot
Ltd; Neil Coote of the Lindum Group Ltd and Jamie Dunbar from Cementation
SKANSKA, represent companies that are both internationally and nationally
renowned.
And, there will be time to network with sector specialists
over breakfast, before the event is officially opened by Dan Fell – CEO of
Doncaster Chamber.
Logistics Hub UK is a membership group dedicated to the
development of the Sheffield City Region’s logistics capabilities.
At the event, attendees will also get the chance to find out
more about the group and the fantastic range of benefits on offer to member
companies.
