We are a
membership group committed to the development of the Sheffield City Region as
one of the UK’s leading logistics, warehousing and distribution sites.
Bringing
public and private sector organisations together, the group has been
established to promote the numerous benefits of the region as a logistics hub
and international gateway, build supply chain connections and develop and
improve activity with other city regions such as Leeds and Manchester.

At the
geographical centre of the UK, the Sheffield City Region provides the ideal
location for logistics, warehousing and distribution companies looking for fast
access to the UK’s largest markets and population centres, as well as
international territories, too.
The area
has direct access to the UK’s motorway network, at a central
north-south/east-west interchange (M1/A1/M18-M62/M180), and is home to
Doncaster’s air and rail freight terminals. The UK’s largest sea port by
tonnage – the Humber port – is also within close proximity.
This
