Eldred
is growing and 2017 will bring further growth for us as a business. With our
roots firmly placed in Doncaster, we are close to road, rail, water and air
with the A1 and M18 motorways giving us access to major routes and locations in
the UK and the port of Hull, Doncaster Sheffield Airport and the Doncaster
international rail port on our doorstep.
With
staff at three sites covering 350000 sq. ft. over the Yorkshire region, the separate
companies under the Eldred Group are a success story in themselves and each
continues to expand both in the UK and overseas aided by the excellent
communication network in Yorkshire.
Our
diverse offering is all about making challenges easier for organisations across
the globe. We offer storage, distribution, agricultural and e-commerce
solutions where we produce bespoke warehousing facilities and storage solutions
for manufacturers, importers and exporters throughout the world.
The
year ahead is an exciting one for us, we are looking at how we communicate with
our customers and how we promote our business and have a new website to
showcase the different aspects of what we can offer. We are also embracing
social media to share our messages, follow us on Twitter: @EldredGroup and
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, just search Eldred Group to keep up
to date with our latest news.
We
are also underway with building a fully serviced high bay racking warehouse at
our Hexthorpe site. All of this will mean that we are in a great position for
taking on new business.
It is fantastic to see all of the great work that is going
on in the region with the building of the rail college, the opening of the
Great Yorkshire Way and the iPort development, we now need to work together as
a region to make sure that we are all making the most of these opportunities
and that the work they create is being delivered by local companies and
therefore boosting our region economy.
As a family business, we employ grandfathers, sons and
daughters, uncles and partners and we are proud to be here employing local
people and as we grow we are able to create more jobs and bring more into the
region.
Doncaster is the best place in the country for this business
to be based. For us being here brings so many benefits, not just the fantastic
location and accessibility.
We are ready to build on the success of 2016 and deliver
even more during the next 12 months and we look forward to working with businesses
from across the globe to do this.
